David was born and raised in Texas but a long sabbatical after college took him away from the state until he retired and returned in 2007.  He found his first Unity Church in 1991 while living in Virginia.  David states, “My first service felt magical and was the end of a summer-long search for a church that fulfilled my spiritual needs.  I knew I was finally home (Unity) and knew I would never leave.” He found Unity by the Sea when he retired in 2007 and has been a member since then. He submitted an application to be a board member because he felt his professional skills should be put to use and he desires to, “to walk the talk.” About our spiritual center he states, “Unity Spiritual Center is on the cusp of significant changes that will entice visitors and allow us to share Unity’s teachings with our community.”
