Unity's Metaphysical Principles are a spiritual philosophy that highlights the interconnectedness of everything and the divine essence within each person.

"Within the heart of every individual resides an eternal spark of the Divine, a radiant essence that illuminates the path of self-discovery and unveils the boundless potential for love, growth, and transformation”.

- Eric Butterworth

Rooted in the belief of a universal, all-encompassing presence often referred to as Divine Mind, Unity teaches that our thoughts and beliefs shape our experiences.

Unity's Metaphysical Principles form a profound spiritual framework that centers on the interconnected nature of all existence.

At its core it is the belief in a singular, omnipresent Divine Mind or Universal Spirit, which infuses every aspect of reality.

This philosophy underscores the idea that every individual possesses an inherent divine spark, contributing to the oneness of all creation.

Through this lens, Unity teaches that our thoughts and beliefs play a pivotal role in shaping our reality.

By cultivating positive and constructive thought patterns, we can align ourselves with the higher consciousness and attract positive outcomes, leading to personal growth and a more fulfilling life.

"Within the tapestry of life, we are threads of divine consciousness, weaving our experiences through the loom of our thoughts and beliefs, creating a masterpiece of our own reality."

Charles and Myrtle Fillmore were the founders of the Unity spiritual movement, which emerged in the late 19th century in the United States.

  • Their teachings revolved around the power of positive thinking, spiritual healing, and the idea of unity with the divine.

  • Charles Fillmore, along with his wife Myrtle,

Embraced a holistic approach to spirituality, emphasizing the connection between mind, body, and spirit.

  • They believed that individuals could transform their lives

By aligning their thoughts and beliefs with spiritual principles, ultimately leading to physical, mental, and emotional well-being.

Unity Village & School

Unity Village, located 15 miles southeast of downtown Kansas City, Missouri, was originally established by the Fillmores as a place for people to be refreshed from the activities of daily life. The Unity School of Christianity was eventually organized, and Unity Village became its home. The Mediterranean-style grounds include 1,400 acres of gardens, woodland, and recreational facilities that attract thousands of spiritual seekers every year. Unity School is world headquarters for the movement, now over a century old and still growing.
